The Department of Hotel Management –T.John College organised a guest talk on 30/09/2019. The speaker for the day was Chef Padmanabhan Anand, Executive Chef from Hotel Royal Orchid, Banagalore. The topic of discussion was “Menu Engineering” and “Role of Chef in Menu Engineering”. Chef Padmanabhan explained in depth about how to plan the profitability and popularity of menu items and how it influences the placement of these items on a menu. And also explained about how to become a successful Chef in future.
The talk was very interactive and a knowledge gaining session.
