Programming Concepts

Guest lecturing was arranged for BCA 5th SEM in the seminar hall from Mr. Rajesh (Associate President Deutsch Bank) and Leadership coach & Behavioural skill trainer from Bangalore. A well trained trainer made the session to reach knowledge to our students in depth. The session started with an introduction to a few observations about current status of working culture with programming skills.

The session continued with the explanation of the current trends in IT industry. After the introduction session, trainer spoke about how to build a powerful career with the help of required programming languages, to attain be success in life with that knowledge. Implementation of latest technologies in different companies proved to be impactful. The one hour session was well interactive and highly useful for all the set of students who participated.

SESSION ON GENERAL ETIQUETTE

IQAC in association with the Department of Languages conducted a session for the I semester students(boys) who are residents of the campus hostel. The session threw light on GENERAL ETIQUETTE which was delivered by  Ms. Rose.M.Vase, Assistant Professor in English who is also a trainer. The session focused on general grooming, importance of balance the mind-body which is an important factor when staying away from home. The session provided important insights on how to handle the  phase of being away from home, taking care of the hostel etiquette and importance if Time management for a better productivity.

A well trained trainer made the session to reach knowledge to our students in depth. The session started with an introduction to a few observations about current status of working culture.

The session continued with the explanation of the current trends in IT industry. After the introduction session, trainer spoke about how to build a powerful career with the help of required programming languages, to attain be success in life with that knowledge. CLUB WRITEUP

19th of July, 2019 marked as the beginning of the club activities for the academic year 2019-20. The Club Registration for all first and second year students of T. John College, for the odd semester commenced with the students enrolling themselves for the clubs of their choice. The clubs were as diverse as Cookery and Beverages Club, Managers Club, Yoga Club, IT Club, Sales and Marketing club, Literary Club, Photography Club, Modeling Club, Speech club, Theater club, Dance Club, Music club, Readers club, General Knowledge club, Funds Management club, Art club, and Entrepreneurship Club. The first session of Club for the academic year 2019-20 commenced on the same day. The day saw vibrant students actively participating in the events of their respective clubs.

The clubs enrolled the students and provided an introduction to the plan of the activities, this semester and conducted the pre-assessment tests for the students.

TJC campus sees the beginning of a new term cycle of club activities this semester, in terms of environment, literary, cultural, and professional spheres.

The club activities for the day commenced with the enthusiastic participation of the students in various club activities. The Cookery and Beverages Club had the pre-assessment test. The

Managers Club conducted the assessments for the students. The Yoga Club introduced the students to various asanas and suryanamaskara and the benefits of yoga. The IT Club conducted IT quiz. The Sales and Marketing club introduced the students the nuances of marketing and sales with an assessment. The Literary Club conducted a pre-assessment test. The Photography Club collected the photographs of the various clubs. The Modeling Club was preparing for UTOPIA. The Speech club conducted the pre-assessment test for the students who have recently joined and did a presentation on Dos and DONTs of public speaking. The Theatre club conducted a pre-assessment for all the students and drafted a script for its mime. The Dance Club choreographed for a song. The Music club started with a pre-assessment test and started practice for independence day. The General Knowledge club had a quiz on Know my India. The , Funds Management club started the session on kinds of funds and equities. The Art and craft club conducted a pre-assessment test and have started making photo frame. The Entrepreneurship Club conducted a survey on entrepreneurship assessments..

T.JOHN COLLEGE INDUCTION PROGRAMME 2019

T JOHN COLLEGE organized Induction Programme for the undergraduate courses of B.COM, BHM, BBA, BCA, BA and FAD on the 3rd  of July, 2019 at the Seminar Hall,TJC B BLOCK.  The event anchored by Ms. Sandhya Parnandy to an august gathering of parents and students. The dignitaries Reverend Father Eldo, Dr.Shikha Tiwari, Principal,T.John College, Mr. Roy .M.Raju ,Administrator, TJGI graced the dais with their honorable presence.

The esteemed gathering was welcomed to a new and an auspicious beginning with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.

Reverend Father Eldho invoked the blessings of the Almighty with his prayer and enlightened the young minds with inspirational words by throwing light on the need to tune the minds.

Principal  of T John College  Dr. Shikha Tiwari, welcomed the young intellectual minds and the proud parents with her eloquent speech by providing important insights on various facets of T.John College.

The session was followed by a short talk by our alumna, Ms. Swathy Nandakumar, Assistant professor, on her  experience with T.John as an undergraduate student. Swathy’s speech provided a cognizance to the young minds.

After the customary vote of thanks and the National Anthem,the guests were treated to tea and delicacies.
