The Governing Council Meeting (GCM) of T John College was conducted on 26.09.2018 at 11:00AM in Chairman’s Chamber. All members including Chairman of TJGI, Dr. Thomas P John, Dr. Mohamed Afzal Pasha from Bangalore University were present for the Meeting. The agenda started with the welcoming remarks of Chairman and Principal of T John College, Dr. Shikha Tiwari presided over the presentation based on the evaluation tool followed by Local Inquiry Committee. The meeting also had presentation on Skill Development Centre and Mentoring new process (Best practice of TJC). It was concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Thomas. P. John, Chairman, TJGI.

WeCon – Women Entrepreneurship Conclave
The girl students of MBA III Semester from T.John College attended a two day Women Entrepreneurship Conclave (WeCon) at Jain University on 3rd and 4th September 2018. The program was organised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and International Institute of Waste Management (IIWM). This program aimed at amalgamating the challenges of gender gap in entrepreneurship and waste management into an opportunity to empower women as well as manage the waste in country.
The first day session started with an online assessment of the students on two avenues – their entrepreneurial skills and knowledge about waste management. The second half of the program witnessed an open house interaction of the students with established entrepreneurs. The second day session had felicitation of eminent women in waste management and release of mentor’s directory. This was followed by technical session of entrepreneurship in waste management and session on financial empowerment for entrepreneurship. The program was a success in highlighting and serving as a motivation for potential women entrepreneurs.
