With a cast of more than 341 Graduates, along with parents, Guests and Spectators – the 4th Graduation Ceremony of T.John Institute of Technology was a truly momentous occasion which was held on 20h May,2016 in the TJIT Auditorium. The Chief Guest of the day was Mr. Dinakar Murthy Krishna, Former Vice-President, Bosch & Founder of Samuthana, Bangalore and the Guests of Honour wereDr.Thomas P John, Chairman, T.John Group of Institutions, Bangalore and Wg. Cdr. (Ret’d). David Yohan, Advisor to the Chairman, T. John Group of Institutions, Bangalore.
The function commenced with academic procession into the auditorium, with the conventional tune played at the background which was followed by an invocation by Mrs. ApoorvaHegde& Mrs. Sumitha, Asst. Professors, Dept. of ECE.The Graduation day was inaugurated by the ceremonial lamp lighting by the Chief GuestMr. Dinakar Murthy Krishna, Dr. Thomas P John, Chairman, TJGI,Wg. Cdr. (Ret’d). David Yohan, Dr. H.N Thippeswamy, Principal, TJIT and Head of the Departments.
Dr. H.R. Radha, Professor & Head, Dept. of Chemistrywelcomed the gathering and the milestones of the outgoing batch was delivered by Mrs.RajiniPriya,Asst. Professor,Department of Civil Engineering.The Chief Guest in his address to the gathering inspired and motivated the students to become Entrepreneurs.Guest of Honour Wg. Cdr. (Ret’d). David Yohan highlighted the need to build brand India. He urged the generation next to stay focused on their goals and work for the development of the country. The Chairman in his speech congratulated the students and reminded them of the goals to be achieved.
MsVeletiJyothi VIII sem ECE student expressed her gratitude to parents, the institute, teachers and friends. The Principal Dr. H.N Thippeswamy administered the graduation oath to the graduates.The Exceptional Department Placement Coordinators and the student toppers were awarded cash prizes and the certificates of excellence.The Chief Guest, the Chairman,Wg. Cdr. (Ret’d). David Yohan, the Principal and the Head of the departments gave away the degrees to the students. Dr.S.R Sudheendra,Prof.and Head,Department of Mathematics,proposed vote of thanks. The event culminated with the National Anthem followed by lunch at TJGI Church basement.
