Jobfair at TJIT

The main purpose of education is to strengthen one’s mind so that the individual can perform better in the sport of life. Our student’s success is our success, which is a direct reflection of our hard work. A huge JOB FAIR was organized at T-John Institute of Technology in association with QSpiders, Banaglore on 28th September, 2013 with as many as 5000 students queuing up for jobs as early as 7 AM. The Job Fair was arranged for 2012 as well as 2013 batch passed out students.

More than 100 students of our institutes participated actively.The entire event took off smoothly and was beneficial to the 5000 students who participated in this mega event.

Inauguration of ISE forum “ARISE”

ARISE (Alliance of Rhetorical Information Science Engineers) a student forum came to existence in the Department of Information Science and Engineering which was inaugurated on 23rd September 2013 in TJIT Auditorium. Dr .M.S .Vinay from IISC was the chief guest of the day. Dr. S. Padmanabha Principal, TJIT, Wg. Cdr(Rtd) P.Sambasivan Campus Director TJGI, Dr. G.P.Prabhukumar Academic Dean TJIT, Dr. M. Ravindranath Head, Dept of ISE presided over the function. The inaugural function began with the Invocation Song by 3rd semester students followed by the inauguration of “ARISE”, nomination of office bearers, objective and goals of the forum. After the inaugural function, the chief guest delivered a technical talk on “Data Clustering in Data mining”. The program concluded with cultural program by the students.

Industry Institution Interface Programme , QCFI Bangaluru

QCFI, Bengaluru Chapter during the 22nd Chapter Convention, under Industry-Institution-Interface Programme has organized Round Table Panel discussion in the Auditorium of T. John Institute of Technology, for the Engineering Students of T. John College Engineering, on 14th September 2013 under Industry-Institution-Interface programme.

Sri B.N.Jagadeesh Prasad, in his welcome address introduced the Panel Members. Program has started by invocation and lighting the lamp.

Each Panel Members shared their experience and an interactive session with the approximately 400 students of TJIT was held. Feedback has been taken by the QCFI committee. Maximum Students are happy with the session and asking more numbers of interactive sessions in the future. Lunch has been served for all the delegates and the students.

Ethnic Day celebration in TJC

T. John College celebrated Ethnic Day with a big bang. The programme was marked by scintillating cultural performances from all corners of India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Rwanda etc. The day began with Flower Rangoli which was displayed at various venues all over the campus which marked an auspicious beginning to the programme.

Students danced to the rhythmic beats of traditional drums. The Campus Director Wg.Cdr(Rtd.) P. Sambasivan addressed the students and congratulated them on their positive attitude. The progamme was marked with regional dance and music items. A colourful fashion show was the the concluding programme with students representing their own regions and countries. The Principal Dr. Shikha Tiwari congratulated Ms. Shiva Sharma and team for the wonderful cultural Display.

Teachers Day Celebration by TJIT

On 5th September, 2013 on the occasion of Teacher’s Day, a Blood Donation Camp was organized in T. John Institute of Technology. The camp was organized in association with Asha Jeevan Home for the Aged, Rotary Club and Red Cross. The camp started with the inaugural function at TJIT auditorium. The function was graced by Dr. Raju Chandrashekhar, Red Cross, Mr. S.M. Gupta, President, Rotary Club, Bangalore, Ms. Nishu Johri, Secretary Rotary Club, Mr K. Kunja, Rotary Club and Ms. Kalpana Mallya from Asha Jeevan Home for the Aged.

The camp saw a tremendous response from the students and staff. The student volunteers and leaders from the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering , TJIT assisted in the setting up and smooth organisation of the event. The Blood Donation Camp provided the students an opportunity to develop their sense of social responsibility.
